The DVSA Enhanced Rider Scheme is an essential post-test opportunity for all riders to benchmark and progress their skills.
Whatever aspect of riding you’re looking to improve, our training brings your skills up to an enhanced level, helping you to control the position and speed of your bike with skill and responsibility.
The Enhanced Rider Scheme (ERS) is an official DVSA sponsored motorcycle training course that is ideal for those who have recently passed their full motorcycle test or are returning to motorcycle riding after an extended period out of the saddle. The course is also of benefit to those who are upgrading to a more powerful motorcycle.
The Enhanced Rider Scheme does not involve a test, but instead involves rider assessment by a DVSA qualified instructor leading to personalised training and the issue of a certificate of competence.
ERS can be completed in one to three sessions depending on your level of competence. We will assess your riding ability and advise you on how many days we feel you will need. We follow a syllabus set by the DVSA which covers both practical and theory sessions, helping you get the most out of your riding.
